This is an obvious one but probably the most important tip for planning your wedding! There are tons of resources out there to help you stay organized - we love The Knot's Wedding App or WeddingHappy because they're super easy to use and have everything you need!
Don't Expect Perfection
There's a lot of pressure to look your "best" on your wedding day or for everything to go perfectly but don't put too much pressure on the day! The most important thing is how you feel and that you are relaxed enough to enjoy your wedding.
Give Yourself Time
When laying out tasks, plan deadlines a few weeks or months (depending on the task) in advance of when the task should actually be completed by. This gives you a time cushion in case life gets too busy or if something goes wrong!
Take a Break
With vendors, families, and friends, there will be a lot of people in your ear during the planning process. It's important to take time to yourself to give yourself a break and keep calm. Whether it's through exercise, meditation or a mix of both - this will make a huge difference!
Eat!
Don't forget to eat on the day! It's so common for a bride to not eat on her wedding day but make sure you take time to eat, relax and enjoy your wedding as well!

Stay Stocked
Always have your clutch/bag with the essentials for any wedding: band-aids, tissues, hairpins, lipstick, blotting paper, etc. Trust us, they'll come in handy at some point!
Don't Go Crazy
Wedding gifts can be expensive, especially when there are multiple you need to buy for! Make sure to set a realistic budget ahead of time so that you don't get carried away - they can definitely add up quickly!
Take Inventory
Plan your outfits ahead of wedding season! Go through your wardrobe and see how many outfits you have that would be perfect for a wedding so that you're never stuck last minute!
Mingle All The Way
Weddings are a great place to meet new people and have fun! Everyone's there to have a good time and celebrate the happy couple so make sure to mingle and get to know the other guests!
