Relax and Set the Mood
The start of a successful at-home spa-day is total relaxation.
We suggest lighting some scented candles (we love lavender!), putting on your favourite music, and drawing a warm bath to get yourself soft and relaxed.
Toss a bath bomb into the water to get your whole body feeling soft and rejuvenated before you move your focus to your feet. Why not give yourself the full spa experience instead of settling for a simple foot bath?
This will also ensure that your feet are clean and ready for the next steps in the home-pedicure process and give you a warm, steamy, and nice-scented room to continue your pedicure in.
File Those Feet!
Once your feet are all soft and ready, dry them off and use some gentle foot files to give them a good rubdown. For trickier calluses, you can try using a rough pumice stone to shed some of that pesky hardened skin, but be careful! If you're going to continue to the next step you may want to skip the pumice stone for this session. Don't worry, you're going to see great results either way.

Now it's time to kick back and relax for an hour. Take out your favourite book and find a good place to kick your feet up and lounge. We don't suggest walking around too much, but that's okay. You deserve to rest your tired feet!
